This set makes me want to go shopping for "Croquet Whites' for the family to complete the picture. The set is so well made that I'm sure it will provide the perfect afternoon's fun for the family for several generations. With six mallets it will allow us to invite the neighbor couple to join us when our children and grandchild come in August for a bit of friendly competition. The rules, abridged for family back-yard use, are quite handy, though I'm sure the set could serve for more official tournaments, if as a beginner I'm not misconstruing. The wickets seem quite sturdy, but I cannot comment on durability since the set is brand new to us. All the other components seem undoubtedly durable.
