I bought this for the backyard since we tend to host a lot. I have had many groups of boys playing with the rackets and the net and it still looks as good as when I bought it. Some of the boys brought their own racquets and I am happy to say that the ones from the set never broke, but the ones that the boys brought as extras did while they were playing. I even ran over one of the spikes that connects to the pole with the lawn mower and the pole stands up fine from the tension without the spike. 5 boys were playing and it never came down. Price was very good too [...]

There's no free lunch here. While the net is pretty darned good, the rackets are quite poor. On day one 3 of the 4 rackets repeatedly had the birdie stuck between the strings of the rackets. You know how annoying that is. And once it happens, it tends to happen over and over. It probably only happened on 3 rackets because there were just 3 of us playing.

On day two (today) the racket handle tape started to unravel on two of the rackets (just two of us playing today). My advice is to buy the net and rackets separately and spend a little more on rackets.
