Bocce ball safety is also achieved by wearing proper attire and stopping play during inappropriate weather conditions. Elderly bocce players or those unaccustomed to physical activity should perform stretching exercises beforehand to reduce the risk of injury.
Bocce Ball Etiquette
Remaining quiet and out of the line of sight when the other players are bowling is the first rule of bocce ball etiquette. Do not walk to the other end of the court until the frame has been completed, and walk along the side of the court rather than through the field of play.
During bocce ball tournament play, an umpire or tournament official will be present. Follow all rulings made by the official, and direct any disputes toward the official rather than the opposing team.
